World Obesity Day Virtual Workshop

Obesity at the Interface of Neuroscience and Physiology II

Obesity is a complex disease with increasing prevalence and associated morbidity and mortality. A close relationship between research, academic training and clinical care is crucial in shaping the future of obesity prevention and treatment.

On October 29th and 30th, Champalimaud Foundation is holding two webinars to raise awareness of obesity. The event (or the talks) will cover the complexity of obesity from basic (29th of October) to translational research (30th of October) and focus on the intersection between neuroscience and physiology. Our goal is to raise public awareness of the fact that obesity is a disease, not a life choice. These webinars were developed under the World Obesity Day 2020 initiatives.
