On May 2nd, marking its 7th year of existence, the nursing team at the Champalimaud Clinical Centre is hosting its annual conference. The primary objective is to foster the exchange of experiences among healthcare professionals and encourage contemplation on clinical approaches focused on cancer patients and their families.
This year's 7th Champalimaud Cancer Nurse Conference is poised to explore the theme inspired by Bob Dylan's iconic song "The Times They Are A-Changin'".
In an constantly evolving world, the ability to adjust to emerging realities is a necessity. Within the healthcare sector, this principle significantly influences the restructuring of services and patient care.
Throughout this conference, we will delve into strategies for investing in novel domains, fostering knowledge creation, and equipping teams to tackle both longstanding challenges and emerging issues. Additionally, we will end the day by celebrating the invaluable contributions of women, showcasing their leadership, dedication, and resilience.
This year, conference registration is priced at €20, encompassing access to all conference sessions, refreshments during breaks, lunch, and a complimentary copy of the book titled "Technology at the Service of Humanising Oncology Care", which compiles key themes from previous nursing congresses at the Champalimaud Foundation.
