The course “Homology in NeuroEthology” is organised by the Champalimaud Neuroscience Programme in Lisbon. The course will take place on November 26-28, 2014, at Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown. You can see the full programme here.
What does a fly have to do with a mouse? And, what can the study of insects and rodents tell us about us? In this course we concentrate on the notion of homology in biology, and we explore whether and how to draw shared principles in neural anatomy, neural activity and animal behaviour across species.
Participation in the course is free and is only dependent on available space, which will be allocated on a first come – first served basis. Pre-registration is required. Please register here.
