As a partner institution of the INTEGRATE Consortium and the PsyPal Consortium, we are recruiting a PhD student in the topic of 'Psychotherapy process and psychological intervention techniques in psychedelic therapy: safety and efficacy'.This student will join the Neuropsychiatry Unit, supervised by Albino J. Oliveira-Maia and Carolina Seybert.

Professor Parreira, Clinical Director of the Champalimaud Clinical Centre since its founding, was distinguished by the President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, with the rank of Grand Officer of the Order of Public Instruction. In this seminar, I will present recent advances developed in our laboratory in CAR-based adoptive T-cell immunotherapy, with a particular focuss on leukemia. The talk will highlight γδ T cells as allogeneic effector platforms and explore emerging dual-targeting and armored CAR strategies.

Since the 1990s, non-invasive brain stimulation has grown from an experimental idea into an established tool for treating depression as well as advancing neuroscience research. Among these technologies, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is clinically validated and used to treat major depressive disorder, also known as unipolar depression.

She had been following Leonor Beleza's work in the press, and the clarity of her clear vision for the CF made a lasting impression.

One phone call set everything in motion. It changed Leonor Beleza’s life and ultimately shaped the lives of countless others who would one day find their way to the Champalimaud Foundation (CF). It was not just a phone call, of course, but the culmination of everything Leonor had built over decades of public service, women's rights advocacy, political experience and a deep belief that institutions exist to serve people.
